The Children's Holiday Shopping Tour treats
underprivileged children to somewhat of a holiday shopping
spree that they otherwise would not be able afford. The Grand
Rapids Jaycees have run this project since World War II. Volunteers
help with shopping, wrapping and traffic control.
The 2006 Children's Holiday Shopping Tour
will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at the Cascade Meijer
located on 28th Street/I-96. For more information or to volunteer,
