Started in 2004, the purpose of the Grand
Rapids Jaycees Patriot Day Parade is to honor the heroes in
our community and to pay tribute to those who lost their lives
in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The Grand
Rapids Jaycees hope that this parade gives the people of West
Michigan the chance to thank the men and women who daily put
their lives on the line so that we may feel a little safer
at night.
